Be the driving force behind commercial decision-making in a fast-paced automotive wholesale business.
We are working with a growing London-based automotive wholesaler looking to bring in a commercially-minded Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape the finance function and provide real-time insight into operational performance and profitability.
You'll work closely with the MD, sales, and operations teams to improve visibility, challenge assumptions, and drive better business outcomes.
Act as a strategic partner to commercial and operational teams, supporting business planning and performance improvement
Develop robust financial models and provide actionable insight to influence key decisions (pricing, purchasing, expansion)
Produce and present monthly management reports with detailed variance and margin analysis
Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Track KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with inventory and procurement teams to improve working capital management
Challenge stakeholders with financial and commercial rigour, supporting a culture of accountability
Contribute to ongoing finance transformation and systems improvements
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong commercial acumen
Experience in wholesale, distribution, or automotive sectors is highly desirable
Proven ability to interpret data and turn it into insight that drives action
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence non-finance stakeholders
A proactive, hands-on mindset and a passion for helping businesses grow
Strong Excel/financial modelling skills; experience with Xero, Sage, or similar systems
