Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior managers to understand current performance, produce detailed forecasts, and provide insightful analysis to enhance financial decision-making and cost control. This role is pivotal in leading the budgeting and forecasting process, developing complex financial models, and monitoring performance to achieve EBITDA targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop, lead, and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial plans.​
  • Performance Monitoring: Communicate performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.​
  • Business Initiatives Appraisal: Support ad hoc analysis and evaluation of business initiatives to prioritize and drive incremental sales and profitability.​
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build close working relationships with key stakeholders within the business to drive profitability and aid decision-making.​
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead initiatives that promote data-driven decision-making through the provision of reliable and accessible business data analytics and reporting.​
  • Process Improvement: Regularly review operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness, considering the impact on other areas of the business and the customer journey.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.​
  • Proven experience in a commercial or financial role, ideally within the travel industry.​
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to visualize opportunities, re-engineer, and improve business processes.​
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities to improve revenue and profits.​
  • Numerate and analytical thinker, self-motivated and solution-oriented with great attention to detail.​Dnata Careers
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable with communicating at all levels.​
  • Demonstrable organizational and time management skills.​
  • Proven people management experience.​
